Project by Patrick Brennan and Lydia Anne McCarthy

This week's project is by Patrick Brennan and Lydia Anne McCarthy.

Patrick Brennan resides in New York City. He studied at Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute and received a BFA in Painting and Video Art from Alfred University in 1998. Recent exhibitions include: Halsey McKay, MOMA / PS1, Galerie Lelong, Nicole Klagsbrun, Monya Rowe, Zieher Smith, Edward Thorpe, Artist Space and Clifton Benevento in New York, Romer Young in San Francisco, and Heiner Contemporary, Washington DC. Brennan is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Alfred University.

Lydia Anne McCarthy is an artist based in New York. She uses photography, sculpture and installation to explore the role of the spiritual seeker and the existence of alternate realities. Her most recent work 'I will be the void' examines American New Age culture. She has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and an MFA from UNC Chapel Hill.
